Ramdara Ram Temple – A Magnificent Temple of Lord Ram

The Ramdara Ram Temple, located approximately 25 kilometers away from the center of Pune city, is dedicated to Maryadapurushottam Lord Ram. It can be easily reached via the Hadapsar-Manjri road, which is part of the Pune-Solapur highway.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the environment here is serene. The vicinity of the Ramdara Temple is surrounded by lush green hills. There is a small pond near the temple, with paved pathways around it for walking. The pond looks beautiful with flocks of ducks swimming in it. A school of fish can also be seen in the temple pond.
The Ramdara Ram Temple is a very ancient temple, reconstructed by Dhundi Baba in the year 1970. Shri Devi Puri Maharaj, also known as Dhundi Baba by the locals, has his ashram near the temple.
The Ramdara Ram Temple is very magnificent to see. The colors of the temple walls are very vibrant, which enhances its beauty even more. The temple is very clean and well-organized.
In the Ramdara Temple, there are sculptures of various deities including Lord Ganesha, Lord Shiva Parvati, and Nandi. In the main sanctum sanctorum of the temple, there is a sculpture of Lord Ram and Mother Sita.
Beautiful sculptures of saints like Meera, Guru Nanak, Surdas, Sant Jnaneshwar, Sant Tukaram, etc., are also installed on the walls of the Ramdara Temple. I liked the Ramdara Temple very much.
There is a sense of spirituality and peace in the atmosphere here, which gives a lot of tranquility to the mind. For people who enjoy cycling in Pune, Ramdara Ram Temple is also a preferred destination. Groups of cyclists can often be seen here in the morning.
There is also a small park and garden for children here. On weekends, you can also enjoy camel rides here. Farmers from nearby villages come to sell fresh vegetables near Ramdara Ram Temple, from where you can buy fresh vegetables at good prices.
My suggestion is to visit here in the morning; you will enjoy it more. If you want to visit a peaceful place near Pune in less time, then Ramdara Temple is a good place where there is a confluence of nature and religion.
